We start on Christmas night in Delhi with cake-cutting and Secret Santa, then travel overnight to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Explore the grand City Palace, Jagdish Temple and the ghats of Lake Pichola, then Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake and the views from Baahubali Hills. Next, head into the rocky leopard country of Jawai for rural Rajasthan, a Christmas bonfire night and an optional leopard safari.

Policies

Payment policy

• Token amount: ₹1,000 per person at the time of booking to confirm your seat. The registration / booking amount is strictly non-refundable.
• Land package payment: 50% of the remaining amount is due 10 days before departure.
• Final amount: the remaining balance is payable on arrival.
• Prices are per person, based on room sharing.
• Prices may change if there is a significant increase in fuel prices, government taxes or hotel tariffs before full payment is received.

Reporting information

• The trip starts and ends in Delhi. The exact pickup point and reporting time will be shared before departure.

• Government ID – original + photocopy
• Light woollens – Jawai nights get chilly
• Comfortable shoes for walks and old-city lanes
• Cap, sunglasses and sunscreen (SPF 30+) for the strong winter sun
• Modest clothes for temple visits
• Camera / binoculars for the safari and lakes
• Personal medicines
• Power bank
• Some cash for markets and small shops

Good to know

• Udaipur sightseeing may be adjusted according to arrival time and local conditions.
• The Jawai leopard safari is optional and subject to availability, local regulations and operator arrangements. Leopard sightings are not guaranteed.
• Christmas week is peak season – expect crowds and traffic at Udaipur attractions. Boat rides and sightseeing depend on operating hours.
• The return to Delhi is an overnight journey on 28 December, arriving on the morning of 29 December, subject to traffic.
• Please follow the instructions of the Trip Captain and safari operators at all times.
• If Sakhi Escapes cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternate date or a full refund will be offered.
