About Sakhi Escapes
Sakhi means a close female friend, and that is exactly what we hope every woman finds on our trips.
Sakhi Escapes is a women-only travel community that takes small groups of women to the mountains, beaches and beyond. Many of our travellers come alone and leave with a group of friends they keep long after the trip ends.
Why we started
Too many women put off travel because they have no one to go with, or because their family worries about their safety. We started Sakhi Escapes to change that: to make it easy, safe and fun for any woman to pack a bag and go.
How we travel
- Women only: every trip is made only for women, so you can relax and be yourself.
- Small groups: we keep groups small so everyone gets to know each other.
- Trip Captains: an experienced Trip Captain travels with every group and takes care of the plan, the timings and your safety.
- Checked stays: we choose hotels, homestays and camps that are clean, safe and comfortable for women.
- Always reachable: our team is a call or WhatsApp message away, before the trip and every day you are on the road.
- Clear pricing: you know what is included before you book, with a small token to hold your seat.
