Booking details: the trip, departure date, room sharing choice and number of travellers.
Identity proof: a valid government-issued photo ID, which is mandatory for booking and travel.
Health and safety information: any medical conditions, allergies or special requirements you choose to share with us, and the details in the Consent Form filled before departure.
Emergency contact: the name and number of a person we can reach in an emergency during the trip.
Payment information: payment screenshots, transaction IDs and amounts paid. We do not collect or store your card numbers, UPI PIN or bank passwords.
Messages: conversations with our team on WhatsApp, phone or email.

How we use your information

To confirm your booking, reserve your seat and share trip updates.
To book hotels, camps, transport and train tickets on your behalf.

Photos and videos

Our Trip Captains may take group photos and videos during trips, and we may share them on our website and social media. If you do not want to appear in our posts, tell your Trip Captain or message us on WhatsApp and we will respect your choice.

Job applications

When you apply through our Careers page, we collect the details you share, such as your name, contact details, date of birth, city, work experience, resume, links to your work and social media profiles, and customer reviews. We use this only to review your application and contact you about the role. Resumes and files are stored privately and are seen only by our hiring team. We do not share them outside Sakhi Escapes. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.

How we protect your information

Your booking and application details are stored securely and can be accessed only by authorised Sakhi Escapes team members. ID copies and health information are used only for your trip and are not shared beyond what your safety and bookings require.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking information for as long as needed to complete your trip, handle refunds and meet legal and accounting requirements. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months in case a suitable role opens. After that, information is deleted or securely stored.

Our website uses essential cookies to keep forms working securely, and Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, the device you use and how you found our website. It does not tell us who you are.
