Begin with the Chinese fishing nets and old streets of Fort Kochi, then drive up to Munnar past Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls into endless tea plantations. Explore Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake, visit the spice plantations of Thekkady and Periyar Lake, and end with a premium houseboat cruise through the Alleppey backwaters, with a traditional Kerala lunch and sunset on the water.

What’s included and what’s not

Policies

• This is a women-only trip; male participants are not allowed.
• Carry a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, driving licence or passport). It is needed for hotels, the houseboat and park entry.
• Please book flights or trains only after confirming pickup and drop timings with our team.
• Entry tickets for Eravikulam National Park and other attractions are not included. Tickets can sell out on busy days, so your Trip Captain may guide you to book in advance.
• Boating at Periyar, Mattupetty and Kundala is optional and depends on availability and weather.
• Kerala can have rain in November. Carry an umbrella or raincoat, and a light jacket for cool evenings in Munnar.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes. Paths near waterfalls can be slippery.
• Air conditioning on houseboats usually runs only at fixed hours (often at night), as per houseboat rules.
• Please follow safety instructions on the houseboat and do not swim in the backwaters.
• Long drives are part of this trip (Kochi–Munnar, Munnar–Thekkady and Thekkady–Alleppey). Please tell your Trip Captain if you get motion sickness.
• Sakhi Escapes follows a strict zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found with drugs will be removed from the trip without refund.
• Final drop timing depends on traffic. Please plan your return flight or train with enough buffer time.
• The itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions or park timings, at the Trip Captain's decision.
